Rising as one of the most important artists shaping the future of Japanese hip-hop, Authority joins forces with genre-defying visionary producer GOLD DIGGA for the long-awaited release of their new single, "Gifted."

This project carries a deeply personal meaning for both artists, having been carefully nurtured for nearly two years since the moment they first met.

Rather than simply creating music, the two spent countless hours in conversation.
Over the course of more than two days, they shared their views on life, personal struggles, childhood memories, feelings of alienation from society, and the meaning of chasing dreams. Through this deep exchange of thoughts and emotions, "Gifted" was born - not merely as a collaboration, but as a piece of music built upon the act of truly understanding one another.

"Gifted" explores the perspective of "from adults to children," portraying the struggles of imperfect people desperately holding onto their dreams while battling loneliness, pressure, and emotional instability.
Authority's raw yet delicate lyricism vividly captures the pain of "wanting to be understood, yet never truly understood," striking deeply at the hearts of listeners.

The coupling track "Gift" was created as the counterpart to "Gifted."
While built upon the same melody, the song reconstructs the theme from the opposite perspective - "from children to adults." Through a piano-centered arrangement, the track transforms into something fragile, warm, and nostalgic, like tracing distant memories.

With roots in classical music, GOLD DIGGA's unique ability to paint emotional depth through arrangement shines throughout the piece, showcasing the extraordinary musical sensibility that sets him apart.

Hip-hop, UK sounds, classical influences, and street culture -
"Gifted / Gift" could only have been created by these two artists with completely different backgrounds. The result is a deeply human message song dedicated to all the "unfinished adults" still searching for themselves.

    **Biography:** Authority was born on May 5, 1997, in Kuroishi City, Aomori Prefecture, Japan. He began rapping in his second year of high school and started his professional career in 2014. Authority gained fame through MC battles, securing numerous victories in competitions such as "ULTIMATE MC BATTLE" and "Sengoku MC BATTLE." He achieved runner-up in the 2018 ULTIMATE MC BATTLE and won the championship in 2019. Additionally, he secured runner-up in the "KING OF KINGS" in the same year, consistently placing highly in various tournaments. In his music career, Authority released his first EP, *22 Space*, in 2020 and continued to drop several EPs and albums. His 2021 album *EMRAL* garnered significant attention. In 2022, he won the BATTLE SUMMIT. Authority remains active in live performances and music production, releasing his fourth EP *In My Head* in 2023. In November 2024, he released his fifth EP *From Hot North Side* and successfully held his first-ever One Man Live with performances in Tokyo and Osaka. Authority's rap style is characterized by its improvisation and lyricism, earning high praise for his unique phrasing and expressive abilities.

    The groundbreaking bass innovator GOLD DIGGA emerged suddenly onto the scene. From a young age, he immersed himself in classical music, mastering a variety of instruments including piano, violin, flute, and percussion. Influenced heavily by club jazz and hip-hop culture, he began DJing at the age of 12. A maestro who effortlessly navigates both UK and US sounds, he is known for his intricate 808 sound design and unique sense of chords. With a laptop in hand, he travels the world, creating beats that reflect his lifestyle and experiences. Having worked on commercials and soundtracks both domestically and internationally, he now focuses on beatmaking and production, centering around hip-hop while incorporating the diverse genres he has explored throughout his journey. His debut production, BADHOP's LIFE STYLE, has surpassed 30 million views on YouTube. After disappearing from the scene for a while, he made a surprise return in 2023 with Fry Fry's Night Dream, a viral hit that dominated the charts. With an exceptional sense for blending pop sensibility and breaking down genre barriers, his ability to infuse B-Boy ism into his sound is something that cannot be overlooked. Currently, he is producing for artists such as KVGGLV, week dudus, and Yvng Patra. He is also the founder of the hip-hop collective New Young City, where over 30 artists gather monthly at his studio.
