Independent music creator RYTZ. will release their debut digital EP, CANCER IN THE WORK, under Cans of Peace Records on [Release Date].

This concept-driven project packages the anxiety, internal conflict, and faint glimmers of light that lurk within the cracks of daily life, condensing RYTZ.'s edgy and distinctive worldview into a single body of work.

The 6-track EP includes the title track "cancer in the work," alongside "I can't wear Converse anymore," "Lunar Eclipse," "Rainyday La La Liar," "Dance in the Ghostlight," and "Buried in the Cherry Blossoms." Written, composed, and arranged entirely by RYTZ., the project was produced in a pure DIY style, with the artist maintaining complete creative control over every stage, including mixing and mastering.

Sonically, the EP showcases an "alternative modern J-Pop" style that fuses the physical, organic textures of vintage amplifiers with contemporary, intricate chord work and unconventional arrangements. The result is an album with a powerful sense of identity, where the dynamism of distorted guitars seamlessly intertwines with poignant, emotional melodies.

Prior to its digital release, a limited-edition physical CD was made available at the independent music exhibition "M3" last month, already capturing the attention of sharp-eared listeners.
