Shiro Shinigami, a folk singer and rapper, presents his 8th digital single.
Blending folk guitar with rap, this track explores the question, "Who are you?" Drawing from five years of performing in MC battles and hip-hop events, Shiro channels his perspective and thoughts into his lyrics.
While maintaining deep respect for hip-hop, he continues to question its underlying assumptions and values. True to the lyric, "Rather than carrying my hometown, I carry myself," he remains committed to walking his own path.
This is his one and only self-introduction, coming 23 years into his career.

Shiro Shinigami
Based in Tokyo, Shiro Shinigami is a Japanese folk singer and rapper. He began his music career in 2004 under the name "Shinigami," performing acoustic guitar and vocals, drumming with vocals, and incorporating Butoh dance into his diverse live shows. In 2018, he changed his stage name to "Shiro Shinigami," and in 2019 released the album Sayonara Heisei. Since 2021, he has also been active as a rapper, releasing the rap album Dokuhaku in 2024. He has participated in numerous freestyle MC battle competitions, including Shin ADRENALINE, Sengoku Reiwa 6 Cup, and The 2nd Enjyo Banpaku - Zan -.
