BIA has created a fresh hip-hop remake of "Matsuribana," a masterpiece by IKECHAN-a leading singer-songwriter from the Senshu region of Osaka-originally inspired by the Danjiri Festival.

While the original song depicts a woman's feelings for the man she loves-a man who lives for the festival-this new version reimagines the narrative as an "answer song." It preserves the original's worldview while expressing the man's own feelings toward the woman he loves.

Having been born and raised in Osaka's Senshu region and having grown up alongside the Danjiri Festival since childhood, BIA brings a unique authenticity to the track-conveying a deep love for the festival, a strong attachment to the local community, and heartfelt affection for a special someone.

Infused with respect for IKECHAN's original, BIA's "Matsuribana -HIP HOP COVER-" breathes new life into the song through the medium of hip-hop.
It is a track meant to reach everyone who loves the festival, transcending both generations and musical genres.

    BIA (formerly known as BiARD) was the sole artist selected as the opening act for Kanye Wests Touch The Sky Japan Tour 06 in 2006. With a signature style described as rap like singing, and singing like rap, he made his nationwide debut with his first album Material. He steadily built his career by releasing the second mini-album Walkin Back in the dayz and producing an insert song for the film Awa DANCE, starring Nana Eikura and Ryo Katsuji. After his final release SAIKA, a mobile ringtone exclusive track themed around his hometowns Danjiri festival, he took a hiatus from artist activities. Seeking to expand his range of expression, he transitioned from music into the broader creative field, working across design, video production, filming, events, and film-making. After building a strong track record as a creator, he founded B-BRANDING Inc., a company focused on event and creative production as well as system development. Today, while operating multiple businesses centered on AI, he returns to music and entertainment with the release of Restart on February 10, 2026, relaunching his artist career under the new name BIA, formerly BiARD.
