INMU KING (REINA ver.)

The story of a tropical uncle who walks the royal road.

This is my first cover. I re-sang YAJU-MC's "INMU KING" with the sound of REINA's 1980s city pop: a 16-beat groove, cutting guitar and slap bass, brass stabs answering the vocal. SOL takes the shouted calls in the hook, and in the bridge we trade lines, one each.

The original is a coronation song for one man who has been passed down in a corner of the internet. It sounds like a joke, but the timing of the call-and-response is serious and the chorus is grand with a straight face. So I didn't sing it laughing. I sang it dead serious, so that you would laugh.

Now drink up this iced tea. The heavens cry out and the earth trembles. That moment, in REINA's voice.
