Following the release of an album "I"(inside/input) in 2014 celebrating her 10th anniversary since debut, the consecutive album is titled "O"(outside/output), showing the 2 contrasting themes and the number 10. During the 2 years in which the "O"was created, Rie fu has moved to the hub of Southeast Asia, Singapore, and toured around Asia to explore "outside" of the Japanese audience through her music. What she discovered through the journey was the new value and aesthetics of the Japanese language and culture. Meeting the audience with their love for Japan has taught her to have a new view towards her native language. This album tells the story of such beautiful discovery through acoustic based retro/new electronic sound as an homage to the traditional J-POP music.
