Lilas (feat. juliet Heberle)
arabesque Choche
A year and a half after the release of eclogue, Arabesque Choche quietly unveils a new piano album: haru.
Just as the title suggests, this collection of 13 tracks gently evokes the feeling of spring-soft, nostalgic, and full of quiet warmth.
Revisiting the stillness and spaciousness found in the debut album Coe, Arabesque Choche delicately weaves a continuation of that world, gently expanding upon its essence with new perspectives.
In contrast to the live recordings featured in the previous work, haru returns to a soundscape crafted primarily with programmed instruments-bringing back the familiar tones from Coe to paint new scenes through a different lens.
Coe was created during the birth of a new life. Since then, quiet days spent watching the slow and steady growth of children have shaped the moments that now dwell within haru. Each track holds a piece of those peaceful, passing days.
The album comes to a close with a vocal reinterpretation of its opening track, where juliet of Chouchou lends her gentle and ephemeral voice to quietly bid farewell to the passing spring.
