Akariya Matsuri Soul

This is the second piece inspired by the "Hachioji Festival," a summer celebration. The glow of paper lanterns illuminating the night streets, the spirited shouts of the crowd, and the lively, upbeat rhythms of the traditional *ohayashi* music-all these elements blend together to generate a powerful surge of energy.
Marching alongside festival participants and children while pulling the ropes of the parade float brings a wonderful sense of ease and uplift to the spirit.
I composed this piece to capture that very atmosphere and feeling.
