Artist Profile
Raiki Takuma
Influenced by his parents, Raiki Takuma was exposed to music from a young age and began performing acoustically in 2008. He honed his live performance skills through street gigs, playing at nursing homes, and participating in local events. In 2012, he expanded his artistry beyond songwriting and began full-scale music production using DTM. He released the album Budo in 2021 and his self-titled album Raiki in 2023 under the moniker "Raiki". Fully self-producing everything - from songwriting and arranging to recording, mixing, and mastering - he proved his exceptional skills as a creator. In 2025, he officially changed his stage name to "Raiki Takuma". That same year, he was selected for the prestigious RO JACK audition and provided the track "Boku no you ni" for the 1st EP Invisible by Tatsuhisa Suzuki's music project, SHINKIRO&Co., earning high praise for his exceptional songwriting abilities. Despite possessing the technical expertise to construct every aspect of a track, he is currently pursuing the true essence of the acoustic performance - just his voice and a single acoustic guitar, which are his musical roots. In an era increasingly dominated by digital sounds and AI-generated music, he intentionally chooses an analog and minimalist approach. By doing so, he engraves the rawest of human emotions and the vivid reality of everyday life into his music.
