MIGHTY JAM ROCK Profile MIGHTY JAM ROCK ("MJR") is a reggae/dancehall group based in Osaka, the hard-fought field for Japanese reggae musicians. MJR comprises five members: KYARA (sound crew), JUMBO MAATCH (DJ), TAKAFIN (DJ) and BOXER KID (DJ). Since their foundation in 1999, MJR has been working actively, devoting themselves to Jamaican-style reggae; releasing so many mix tape series entitled "sound bacteria" from their own label "MIGHTY JAM ROCK RECORDS", performing at so many shows with their mobile sound system called "DANCEHALL Mecha-Dog", organizing an yearly monster reggae festival "HIGHEST MOUNTAIN", etc.
