  DAT / Okayama / THE WEST CLASSIC RECORDS DAT is an MC based in Okayama, Japan. At the age of 18, DAT picked up the mic and was shocked by the presence of western heavyweights - HANABIS, FEIDA-WAN, LEESOK, NO LOOK PLAN - and fell in love with HIPHOP. Through "BACK YARD," an event he founded in his hometown, he has been rooted in the scene, connecting with fierce competitors in and outside of the prefecture, and carving out a path for himself. In 2021, he was selected to represent UMB Okayama. He has made his mark not only with his name, but also with his ability. Their sound is based on sampling, and has an earthy but core sound with a foundation of jazz and soul. The lyrics are unadorned and unpretentious, spitting out life as it is. The flow is rigid. The words are heavy. There are no lies. His many works include "DAT TRIP" (2021), "GOOD NIGHT MORNING" (2022), EP "IN DA HOUSE" (2023), "itsu no manikano Ima wo" (2024), "Underneath the Colorful is Always Plain" (2024), and many more. He continues to send out music, including singles, without stopping. With Okayama on his back, he travels around the country with a single microphone. Even from the countryside, you can do it.
