• Kyoshiro Hirama

  Born in Neyagawa City, Osaka, Japan in 1998. He won the 5th prize in the piano section of the 7th Sendai International Music Competition, semi-finalist in the 5th Istanbul International Piano Competition, 22nd Matsukata Hall Music Award Selection Committee Encouragement Prize (2nd Prize), etc.. In 2020, he was selected as a Chanel Pig Marion Days Artist and performed several recitals at Chanel in Ginza, Tokyo, and also performed with Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Sao Paulo Youth Symphony Orchestra, Uzbekistan Symphony Orchestra, and many other orchestras. He has also performed with many orchestras. He is a two-time recipient of the Neyagawa City Arts and Sports Merit Award and a three-time recipient of the Neyagawa City Board of Education Special Service Award. 2017-2019 Yamaha Music Foundation Music Scholarship Support Scholarship recipient. 2022 and 2023 Kansas City Music Club Scholarship recipient. 2022 Kansas City Sigma Alpha Iota Scholarship recipient. He has been a full scholarship student at the Park University International Music Center in Kansas City, U.S.A. since 2016, and will study with Severin von Eckerstein at the University of Music and Dance in Cologne in the fall of 2023. He has studied with Hiroko Kojima, Claudio Soares, Makoto Ueno, and Stanislav Ioudenitch.
