"HEAVEN (feat. Rikka)" is the third single produced by project AMBIVALENCE/$.odÅ.
This work, released just eight months after the previous work "Mermaid(feat. Rikka)", is a cover of "heaven" from $.odÅ's latest album "ARCA". However, it gives a different impression from the original song. It's a similar but different song. The word "twins" that $.odÅ used during the production stage may be the key.
The exquisite ensemble of strings and distorted guitar, the development that was not in the original song, Rikka's core vocals that are even more polished than in the previous work, and $.odÅ's backing chorus that quietly supports it. Rikka himself plays the violin in the interlude, and the various aspects make the song stand out.
This time, $.odÅ himself directed the jacket and teaser photography, and the production was carried out in close consultation with Rikka.
Currently, Rikka is focusing on her activities as a Vocaloid producer, and her performance of $.odÅ at the Vocaloid Collection is still fresh in our memory, but she is also working towards releasing a new song as part of the three-member female entertainment vocal unit "RiRiUM."
