Lyric

May's Lalala

BASELINE 66

    May's Lalala

    BASELINE 66

The words we could never say properly.
The nights we had no choice but to scream through.
The roads we laughed our way down together.

"Poems, Melodies and Songs" is a collection of ten tracks that capture everything Baseline 66 has lived through.
Love, heartbreak, friendship, impulse, and even the awkward kindness we never knew how to express.
Ordinary days that belonged to no one special somehow became the memories we could never forget.

The sound of distorted guitars, the nights we took the long way home, the feelings that never found words-
we left all of it inside this album.

And in the end, what remains is a simple "la la la" sung together with someone else.

Artist Profile

  • BASELINE 66

BASELINE 66 is a three-piece rock band from Ishigaki Island, Okinawa, Japan. With raw guitar sounds and honest, straightforward lyrics, they capture youthful emotions and memories of life just before leaving their island home. Their live performances prioritize feeling over perfection, creating an immediate and powerful connection with the audience. Their debut song, Mada Namae no Nai Koi Datta, tells the story of a first love experienced just before leaving the island. Driven by the idea of redefining their own baseline in music, BASELINE 66 has begun to draw a new line from the island to the wider world.
