Formed in 2006, Meikyu Kairou was founded by shiro, who played guitar for Palette in the late 1990s on the Kanto-based visual kei indie scene, and Yuuki, who was the vocalist for overdose during that same period. Later, hasey joined as the third bassist, and the band has been performing at live events primarily in Tokyo.
In 2026, 20 years after their formation, they finally began producing their first recorded music.
This album features songs originally created 20 years ago when the band first began, which have been rearranged, expanded, and remade. Since 2025, they have been working on the project with producer Tomo Furukawa.
It is a culmination of their work, breathing new life into songs that remained unfulfilled back then, and recording them by interweaving the emotions of 20 years ago with their current feelings.
