Kuon no Tomoshibi

"Kuon no Tomoshibi" (The Eternal Light) is an original track
built upon a foundation of Japanese-style EDM and electro-pop.
It reimagines the core spiritual essence of the Lotus Sutra
specifically the *Expedient Means* and *Life Span of the Tathagata* chapters,
the *Daimoku* (sacred chant), and *Eko* (dedication of merit)
through Sakū's own unique words and worldview.

Rather than merely aiming for solemnity,
the track seeks to give musical expression to
eternity, compassion, the light of the Dharma, and prayer
all within a soundscape defined by driving beats,
repetitive hooks, long and addictive instrumental breaks,
and an intensity that carries a sense of precarious edge.
