Fukuoka City-based rapper Has-ki has released his new single "Think on the beach." Released as a single cut from his upcoming album, the song features a summer-inspired Amapiano-style beat, introspective lyrics, and a gentle melody that expresses Has-ki's own determination to somehow switch to a positive attitude while struggling with loneliness.

  • Has-ki

    Has-ki is a 21-year-old rapper from Fukuoka. He began freestyling at 14 and started creating his own music seriously at 16. His self-produced songs were featured on Fukuoka Collective, now known as SPACE SHOWER FUKUOKA. After changing his name to Has-ki, his October 2021 release Capsule World became popular on TikTok. In 2022, he released the full album Normal and the EP Diary 1. His music was quickly added to playlists and promoted on radio stations like LOVE FM, ZIP-FM, and bayfm. His song One room reached No. 2 on the CRJA FUKUOKA charts, and blue sky was listed on teen culture playlists and Spotify Japan's Rising Charts. Tracks like Andromeda remix and Door earned him support from both hip-hop fans and listeners of other genres. Recently, from 2023 to 2024, he released three songs with NEWTURING: Planetary Communication feat. Mel, Neon sign, and FILM. He also won a Special Jury Prize at Sony Music's Winter Challenge! and received significant praise on TikTok for his entry in Novelcore's SKILL TEST OPENVERSE CHALLENGE. His work shows he is an artist who is not limited by the traditional roles of a rapper or singer.
