Artist Profile

  • misaki umei

    Born in 2002. Started playing piano at age 4 and electric organ at age 6. Began composing. Graduated from Nishi-nomiya High School Music Department with a composition major. Received Yamaha Scholarship in 2018. Currently a third-year student at Tokyo College of Music, majoring in composition and conducting. Released their first album "Humoresque" with Misaki Umei Trio in January 2020 through Brilliant Works. Receiving positive feedback for their success with their own trio's Cotton Club performance and collaborations with various famous artists and support work.
