Artist Profile

  • HEYLODY

    HEYLODY is a project started by Kohei Yamada in the spring of 2024. He is an independent DIY musician who creates his own sound and packages his own music. He takes the vast musical imagination of garage rock revivalists such as The Strokes, foreign indie pop, and lo-fi, sublimates it into Japanese music, and builds his own world. The foundation of their sound is a simple band sound. The foundation of the sound consists of a simple band sound, with synthesizers and other electronic sounds sprinkled throughout, and a shimmering, thick ensemble that colors the worldview of the songs.
