NOMAD POP, a 5-piece band that fuses Japan's unique lyricism with a sense of the near future, will release the advance single "La La Lights Camera Action" from their upcoming mini-album "PRISMATIC NOMAD LOVE" to be released in October.
In this song, the band sings, "I want to end on this beat that sounds rather than the words that break my heart," and it shows the band's intention to keep on being "affirmative" rather than "negative" in the confusing world. The intertwining of current hip-hop and digital sounds, game music style synths, and beastly guitars with war-my-effects heralds a new frontier for NOMAD POP.
In addition, the song's wordplay, full of Japanese sentiment, is directed by a glittering auto-tune. Production on the mini-album began in May, under the declaration of a state of emergency. The process from composition to arrangement was fully remote, and as a result of pursuing unshakable strength in the midst of complicated information, both the sound image and the lyrics have become tinged with earnestness.
