Among humankind, the sealing of the plague was but brief, and for long now the age has been named the "Era of Wind."
The course of time stands unsettled; myriad prophecies drift through the air, yet none take root, all vanishing into the void.
In the fields as well, there spread whispers that the fabled "Era of Wind" was at last drawing near...
"When the calendar of the gods was bent awry,
and the Rock-Door remained fast shut,
behold! from the rising of the Eightfold Clouds the Great Serpent appeared.
With the setting sun for halo, there came forth white-shining elders of valor.
They struck down the lords of gold, and drew the curtain upon the age.
Upon the newborn earth they scattered seed, and would guide it
unto the azure, restored course of time.
We too must hasten to sow our seed, and flee into the shadows."
Thus it is handed down through the reed-plains-
the Revelation of the Insects.
