Urei Kasane, a virtual YouTuber affiliated with B-Grade, is an artist who lets sorrow, prayer, and quiet pain seep into her delicate and refined singing voice. Bearing layers of emotion that "pile up as melancholy," as suggested by the origin of her name, she performs as a character with a fragile presence?something neither wholly angelic nor wholly human, a being that never fully belongs anywhere. In her setting, she is a fallen angel who has lived for more than 300 years, from 18th-century Europe to the present day, slipping out of a heavenly realm bound by strict discipline and wandering into the freedom of the modern world. She wishes to offer both indulgence and salvation to those who, like her, feel suffocated by the pressure of having to live earnestly under harsh rules.

Her first original song, "Angelology," was created precisely to embody the core of that existence. The concept of the song is a dusky, beautiful, and fragile world that evokes a "fallen angel." It portrays emotions in which innocence and pain, silence and wavering coexist, through a mellow and fantastical sound woven from piano, strings, acoustic instruments, and floating synth textures.

The lyrics, composition, and arrangement were handled by RAKUEN SHIGAI, a creator known for music rich in fantasy and literary sensibility. The lyrics carry the very messages that define Urei Kasane herself: an affirmation of indulgence, and the joy of winning freedom from a world of severe discipline. These themes are expressed through a rich vocabulary and skillful choice of words. By uniting character, worldview, narrative, and music along a single axis, "Angelology" was completed not merely as a debut song, but as the "first story" that inscribes the very outline of Urei Kasane as an artist.
