JET RYU Releases New Song "Ame no Sidewalk"
JET RYU has released a new song titled "Ame no Sidewalk" (Rainy Sidewalk).
This track breathes new life through a fresh digital arrangement into an original song that gained popularity during his live performances in the 1990s. Set against the backdrop of Tokyo's Omotesando district, the song features a melodic sound infused with Brazilian pop elements, while gentle lyrics and the resonance of acoustic guitar create a warm atmosphere.
This release follows his previous track, "Escape Fantasy 1991," which was distributed globally on streaming platforms including Spotify on July 4, 2026.
As with the previous release, JET RYU handled the songwriting and composition himself, as well as the cover artwork. It is an ambitious work that revitalizes a song cherished across generations.
