Day by day, he grew more thoughtful, considering others and acting based on what was rational. That was the life he chose. He kept losing sight of himself, eventually arriving at the belief that everything was predetermined by fate and that nothing he did mattered.
From the day his fear of death overpowered his desire to kill his empty, ugly self, he began using his body and nature to gain experiences that would fill the gaps in his humanity.
Though young and even foolish, for Anxakid now, it was all a path he chose, and every event held meaning.
