"A Thousand Years of Time" is Yasuka's second single, inspired by the legend of Aterui, which has been passed down in her hometown of Oshu City, Iwate Prefecture. The song expresses the story through her own unique perspective. It was composed just before the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, and after the disaster struck, Yasuka found the lyrics so deeply resonant with the tragedy that she was unable to perform it for a time. The line "Even if we are once again drenched in sorrow, our passionate hopes will always bloom here in full splendour" conveys her heartfelt wish and enduring spirit.
