Drawing from Shinmeikai Kokugo Jiten, Meikyo Kokugo Jiten, and Kojien, the song explores the meaning of life through different perspectives, singing of both the beauty and fragility of living each passing moment.
Eyes gazing upon cherry blossoms.
A flame that continues to burn.
A heart swaying in the wind.
And jet-black lines drawn by the tip of a brush.
What is life?
Why do people suffer, and yet continue to live?
The words discovered along the Dictionary Journey have become a song, carried to the hearts of all living beings.
Will the cherry blossoms be just as beautiful next year?
That depends on whether we are here to see them.

kneeking Records
Kneeking Records is a label that expresses the journey through dictionaries in music. Founded by Yoshihiro Sato, a calligrapher, dictionary traveler, and former world kickboxing champion. Since 2013, he has read, written, and shared words almost every day. In 2025, he began transforming these works into music. The journey continues to grow. The sound spans reggae, j-pop, r&b, soul, house, gospel, funk, ska, and sometimes punk rock. It values the rhythm of language and creates music that feels natural and refined. Each piece is inspired by calligraphy and shaped into sound.
