Story/Composition/Performance: Yohei Sato
Narration: Maki Imanaka

Purpose of the Work
1. Learning about clocks and number rules through the cuckoo clock's chime and the picture book's clock face
2. Observational learning about proper daily rhythms in early childhood
3. English education using native English

Details
Target Audience: Preschoolers (ages 2-6)

The protagonist is Croppo the cuckoo clock. Other characters include a child and a parent.
The child reader experiences the story from two perspectives: as Croppo and as the child/parent.
The story progresses from Croppo's viewpoint, with learning opportunities woven throughout.

1. Learning numbers by counting along with Cloppo the cuckoo clock's hourly chimes. Understanding the relationship between numbers and clocks/times.

2. The story is based on an ideal daily rhythm for kindergarteners. Observational learning by comparing Cloppo's suggested rhythms with actual daily routines.

3. In addition to the Japanese version an English version Cloppo is available, allowing exposure to and memorization of native English pronunciation and expressions.
Young children are often called language learning geniuses. Unlike adults, their right brain functions more advantageously, processing vast amounts of information unconsciously and without logical reasoning.

This work is composed and performed centered around the frequency 528Hz, which is said to improve physical and mental discomfort.
