Lyric

A Little Light for Tomorrow

MarkCafe Tokyo

Leave the curtain open

Just a little way

Night is getting lighter

At the edge of day

The cup beside the window

The guitar by the chair

All the quiet things I love

Are patiently still there

I don't need to see it all

One small glow is enough to follow

A little light for tomorrow

A little room in my heart

I don't need the whole road shining

Only somewhere to start

After every long night

Morning comes soft and slow

I'll carry a little light for tomorrow

And let the rest unfold

First train in the distance

Birdsong on the wire

Rooftops turning silver

Clouds beginning to rise

I may not know the answer

I may not know the way

But I can meet the morning

Without outrunning today

I don't need to see it all

One small glow is enough to follow

A little light for tomorrow

A little room in my heart

I don't need the whole road shining

Only somewhere to start

After every long night

Morning comes soft and slow

I'll carry a little light for tomorrow

And let the rest unfold

Not a promise that nothing will change

Just a kindness I can carry again

A little light for tomorrow

A little room in my heart

I don't need the whole sky shining

Only somewhere to start

After every long night

Morning comes soft and slow

I'll carry a little light for tomorrow

And let the new day unfold

A little light

For tomorrow

    A Little Light for Tomorrow

    MarkCafe Tokyo

Morning Finds a Way is the second album in MarkCafe Tokyo's Soundtracks for Better Days series, written, composed and fully produced by MarkCafe Tokyo. Across sixteen songs, it follows one day in Tokyo - from the first train before sunrise through quiet morning streets, a canal-side afternoon, blue hour, rain on the journey home, coffee after closing, a midnight window and a small light carried into tomorrow. MarkCafe Tokyo created the album concept and narrative, wrote and composed the songs, and directed each track's scene, vocal character, tempo, instrumentation, structure and emotional movement. The production also involved comparing multiple versions, requesting revisions and section repairs, selecting the final performances, sequencing all sixteen tracks and conducting the final quality review. AI was used as a supporting production tool, but this is not an untouched collection of automatically generated recordings. The completed album reflects MarkCafe Tokyo's human authorship, detailed creative direction, editing, selection and emotional judgment.
