  R-POP Unit "Shonen Shojo" by Ryukyu Okinawa Artists We bring you Ryukyu Chill Music (R.C.M.), created through free collaboration among Ryukyu Okinawa artists. This project sends out music from the southern islands that gently accompanies you, evoking a sense of nostalgia and comfort, reminding listeners of their youthful days as "Shonen Shojo", regardless of age or gender. [What is R-POP] The "R" in R-POP stands for Ryukyu Okinawa, Relaxation, Relation, R&B, Rap, Reiwa, etc. It is a coined term that emerged from a collection of words used to describe the artistic activities of Shonen Shojo.

  Based in Koza, Okinawa City, they began live performances in 2008 while simultaneously founding the crew "JAP SUN TRIBE." Around the same time, they actively organized events, which have always been met with incredible enthusiasm. They are energetically active both within and outside Okinawa. Additionally, they showcase their versatile talents by serving as an emcee, host, and organizer for dance events and MC battles across the prefecture. In August 2014, they released their first full-length album, THEMA LAND, and simultaneously established FEELBOMB RECORDS. In December 2015, they released their second album, Synchronicity. In April 2019, they released their third album, B meets Jane. In July 2023, they collaborated with beatmaker TSUUGUU to release YAMIAGARI. Since 2012, they have also been active as a DJ. Currently, they host a regular event, SWING SOUL, every Tuesday at @B.CTrip, located on Gate Street in Okinawa City, alongside DJ YUGAMA, DJ SLAM, and DJ HAPPY. They are also the organizer of the street culture festival BOSS UP KOZA, held in October 2022 in their hometown of Koza, Okinawa City. A prominent figure in the real Koza scene, they successfully held the third edition of the event on March 16-17, 2024.

  They began their music career in 2018 as a chorus member for a vocal unit. This experience opened the door to receiving beats from Okinawan HIPHOP artists such as "QuanataRecognize" and "REN," leading to the start of their solo career in 2020. In 2023, they released the single Rocket ni Notte and the EP Flower. In June 2024, they joined the label MIYATERRACE and released their first single, Fill Me, produced by TANGDEN. Currently, they continue to create and prepare music for release while performing live at clubs, bars, cafes, and other venues across Okinawa. Their captivating voice and unique character have won over a diverse audience. In addition to their solo career, they are actively involved in various projects, including the unit "village ppl" with local rapper O-BIS FREAKS and the vocal unit Gusoo Parlor with QuanataRecognize.
