Coffee Time

In the corner of an old cafe, an elderly woman sits quietly over a cup of coffee.

When they were young, caught between poverty and anxiety, the coffee from this shop was the only small luxury the couple could afford to afford.

Eventually, after much hardship, fate gave them a push and they achieved great success.

Busy lives forced them to distance themselves from the cafe for a while.

Her late husband, clumsy, honest, and kind, looked unchanged on the other side of the steaming cup.

With each sip, time softly unravelled, and even the years that had been away returned warmly to her heart.
