I like to write lyrics with a story-like structure.
The persona Kenjiro was born, and in the previous song "Masaka no Meakashi!", he sees his girlfriend walking down the street with two handsome guys and ends up following them. Shocked, he pretends not to notice and tries to escape reality.
The background of this story is that Kenjiro has a position where he has subordinates. He is always busy, but today he finished work early, and I can picture him quietly closing his PC with a grin on his face.
In his mind, he is thinking obscene things like, "Yay! I finished work early. Today I'm going to spend time with my girlfriend for the first time in a while and have sex."
On the way home, he buys a bouquet of flowers and champagne for his girlfriend, who he made feel lonely. He forgot his spare key in front of her apartment, so he pressed the intercom, but he was made to wait a long time. Finally, his girlfriend opens the door and comes out. She has just taken a shower, and her hair is wet. She was so sexy, my heart was beating so hard! I quickly took a shower and was so excited I was about to explode. Then I heard a noise coming from the closet. I opened it and found an unexpected guest.
A typical plot twist from a daytime drama.
When I heard the finished song, I burst out laughing. It's a very entertaining, fun, and hilarious jazz comedy.
It's a great song, so give it a listen!
In my younger years, I was active on stage as part of a musical theater troupe. This led me to develop an interest in gospel music, and I had the opportunity to perform in concerts and participate in recordings as a family member of Yuka Kamebuchi & VOJA (The Voices of Japan), as well as occasionally as a member of the Anointed Mass Choir produced by Chie Ayado. After that, I shifted my focus to being a magician, spending nearly 20 years working both onstage and behind the scenes. Eventually, I felt the limits of my physical energy and beauty, and decided to retire from the stage. In recent years, with the rise of AI, even someone like me with no formal music background has been able to start making music. I've begun using AI to create original songs. I've always enjoyed writing lyrics and coming up with imagery, and now I'm bringing to life lyrics I wrote around 30 years ago. It's been a joyful process to see them become part of my music today. I will continue to create music in a variety of genres, not limited to J-pop or rock. Also, I would like to apologize to everyone. I found a mistake in the description of my song "DIVA." The date written in my old lyrics was February 9, 1997.
