Celebrating Takako Shirai's 40th anniversary ROD label distribution! Part 1
TAKAKO SHIRAI & The Crazy Boys + Jr. "NEXT GTAE 2022" .
A new version of "NEXT GATE" released in 1986! This is the first distribution of her representative song along with "Chance!" which led the way to be called the "Queen of Rock" in the 80's and led the era, from her own label ROD in 2022, the 40th anniversary of her debut!
If we can help lead the earth, which is in great turmoil with the Corona disaster and the "war" that can be called a "crisis of the earth" that should never have happened, "to the NEXT GATE of new happiness once again! With this in mind, the lyrics were further added. The new version of "NEAT GATE 2022" is a hybrid sound of "eco & rock" and is a re-born version of TAKAKO's soulful "NEAT GATE 2022"!
Words and music by Takako Shirai
Arranged by TAKAKO SHIRAI & The Crazy Boys + Jr.

The basic take was digitally recorded for a new 40th anniversary release, based on Shirai's "hybrid of eco and rock" idea, with Kiyomi Honda on guitar and Atsuo Katayama on keyboards for the Crazy Boys, and manipulator Kaizu, who participated on the album "Earth" released after the band's 25th anniversary revival. Recording began in 2017 with Ken's project. The epic scenes of the interludes were newly incorporated.
At the time, the era was still between CD and distribution. The plan was to record new versions of other 80s songs, but the Corona disaster interrupted the work.
Then came the 40th anniversary. Distribution has now become the norm, and this is the first time that the album will be released for distribution.
This new release is based on Shirai's theme song for the 61st "National Tree Planting Festival in Kanagawa Prefecture" in 2010, "Let's Go to the Forest! The new keyboardist is Yasunari Nakamura, who created the fresh and dynamic sound that Shirai himself called "rock of the earth" in his "Rock of the Earth" album.
NEXTGATE 2022" inherits everything from the genes of "Takako Shirai & Crazy Boys" in the 1980s to the new version, and has been reborn as a brushed-up song.
This is a new version of "NEXTGATE 2022" that is full of "TAKAKO`s mindset and full of life," which has been developed over the years, and which we hope you will listen to in this difficult time of "giving up" on everything, a sense of stagnation, anxiety, and fear.
