Everyday life is a miracles (Orugunal song)
@Aika-Musics
Yesterday, I suddenly thought of writing lyrics for "Everyday Life is a Miracle".
I was thinking of the nostalgic folk song melodies I used to listen to as a child.
The everyday life we take for granted is actually woven together with a series of small miracles.
I wanted to express that through lyrics, so I began writing.
As I continued, more and more of what I wanted to say came together.
It seems to be my habit to end up with long lyrics.
However, I did my best to reduce and summarize my message.
After completing the lyrics, I wondered what kind of person would sing this song.
I generated different versions, including male and female vocalists.
After listening to them repeatedly, I decided to release the version with male vocals this time.
For the cover image, I tried to capture the atmosphere of the Showa era,
showing someone sitting cross-legged on a tatami mat, playing an acoustic guitar.
Folk songs are wonderful.
They touch the heart with nostalgic warmth.
Perhaps it is because I lived through the Showa era myself,
but this kind of music brings me great comfort.
I would be happy if this nostalgic emotion could bring a sense of peace to people all over the world.
I have translated the meaning of the lyrics and included it here.
A road with familiar scenery.
The smell of the wind is the same as yesterday.
The light that illuminates casual moments.
These are our ordinary days.
But these ordinary days,
in fact, they are made of miracles.
Each and every small moment,
that is what we weave our lives from.
The greetings exchanged at the start of the morning,
enveloped in the warmth of people.
In the midst of helping and supporting each other,
I live and the world turns.
The days that I thought were normal,
in fact, they are made of miracles.
Each and every small moment,
that is our ordinary days.
I will once again engrave in my heart
that feeling that I had almost forgotten.
I will never overlook
that kindness that I had overlooked.
Today, there was a rare battle at the school cafeteria.
As I bit into the melon bread that I finally managed to get my hands on,
I realized.
Mom, thank you for always showing me your sincerity.
On a rainy day when I forgot my umbrella,
you were waiting for me in front of the school gate.
We walked side by side with one umbrella.
Thank you for the smile as you offered me the umbrella.
I dropped my wallet and felt like hell.
It was delivered to the local police station.
My money and charm were returned.
Thank you so much, stranger.
I only just realised that the world is so
full of kindness.
It was just a morning, a simple sky, the usual hill road,
your smile, the sight of my friends, the love of my family.
Thank you for all of i.
Artist Profile
@Aika-Musics
In my younger years, I was active on stage as part of a musical theater troupe. This led me to develop an interest in gospel music, and I had the opportunity to perform in concerts and participate in recordings as a family member of Yuka Kamebuchi & VOJA (The Voices of Japan), as well as occasionally as a member of the Anointed Mass Choir produced by Chie Ayado. After that, I shifted my focus to being a magician, spending nearly 20 years working both onstage and behind the scenes. Eventually, I felt the limits of my physical energy and beauty, and decided to retire from the stage. In recent years, with the rise of AI, even someone like me with no formal music background has been able to start making music. I've begun using AI to create original songs. I've always enjoyed writing lyrics and coming up with imagery, and now I'm bringing to life lyrics I wrote around 30 years ago. It's been a joyful process to see them become part of my music today. I will continue to create music in a variety of genres, not limited to J-pop or rock. Also, I would like to apologize to everyone. I found a mistake in the description of my song "DIVA." The date written in my old lyrics was February 9, 1997.
