arvin homa aya
arvin homa aya（アーヴィン・ホマ・アヤ） カリフォルニア州サンフランシスコ生まれ。 シンガー／ソングライター／作詞訳詞家／vocalコーチ/recordingディレクター。 1997年よりスタジオワークを中心にさまざまなメジャーアーティストの作品に携わり、作 詞(英詞)訳詞家としてもこれまでにYOSHIKI、久保田利伸、宮崎駿、松任谷由実、akiko等の作品に歌詞を提供。2002年以降Jazztronik、須永辰緒、FreeTEMPO、i-dep、DAISHI DANCE等数多くのクラブミュージック系アーティストの作品にfeat. vocalistとして起用され、シンガーとしての活動の幅も広げる。 2005年には初のソロアルバム「Butterflies」をリリースし、feat. 作品をコンパイルしたベ スト・アルバムを含め、これまでにオリジナル・アルバムを8枚リリース。日本全国や韓国でのライブ活動の傍ら「ラスト・シンデレラ」や「手紙」等のドラマ／映画／アニメの挿入歌を担当し、アーティストとしても幅広い作品に携わる。 現在もさまざまな制作、作品やプロジェクトに参加をしながら、これまでに培ってきた経験 を活かし、2017年には学童保育施設での英語×音楽プログラムのdirectorとしてカリキュラム作りから、監修／指導を担当。また、日本全国で開催されているジャズと英語を親子で楽しめるコンサート「Kids meet Jazz!」への参加や、親目線で子供と一緒に楽しめるコラボ・イベント「KotOto-子と音-」の立ち上げなど、英語と音楽を合わせた子供教育にも取り組んでいる。 solo debut 15周年を迎えた2020年には、8年ぶりのオリジナル・アルバム「Past Present Future」を配信でリリース。配信初日にiTunesのダンス・アルバム・チャートで1位を獲得、イギリスのチャートでも4曲がランクインした。アルバムのアートワークを担当するデザインチーム、GUTSON TG INC.とのコラボで新たなmusic project「AHA!!! Music」も同時にスタート。 音楽活動25周年を迎えた2022年から英語歌唱でのvocal育成にも力を入れ、大手レコード会社主催のオーディション・プロジェクトでVocal育成Directorを務めるなど、世界を目指す若い世代の指導に注力。
