  arvin homa aya Born in San Francisco, California. Singer / Songwriter / Lyricist & Translator / Recording Director / English Pronunciation Coach / Vocal Coach. Since 1997, arvin homa aya has been actively involved in studio work, contributing vocals to a wide range of major artists works. As a lyricist and translator, she has collaborated with renowned figures such as YOSHIKI, Toshinobu Kubota, Hayao Miyazaki, Yumi Matsutoya, and akiko. From 2002 onward, she expanded her career as a singer by being featured as a vocalist in numerous club music projects, including works by Jazztronik, Tatsuo Sunaga, FreeTEMPO, GTS, i-dep, and DAISHI DANCE. Alongside live performances across Japan and in South Korea, she has also contributed vocals and lyrics to songs featured in TV dramas, films, and anime, including Last Cinderella and Tegami (The Letter). In 2005, she released her first solo album Butterflies. Including a best-of compilation featuring her collaborations, she has released a total of eight original albums to date, with around 150 tracks combining solo and featured works. In 2020, marking the 15th anniversary of her solo debut, she released Past Present Future digitally, which debuted at No. 1 on the iTunes Dance Album Chart in Japan and had five tracks chart in the UK. In recent years, her creative work has expanded further to include collaborations with popular overseas VTubers, music for major Japanese fashion brand shows, official tracks for D.LEAGUE, and direction for English lyrics and vocal recording for hit video games. She also works as a director for English vocal training with major record labels. In 2025, celebrating the 20th anniversary of her solo debut, she formed a music production team called [aHa Lab.] with long-time collaborators Noboru Abe, Yusuke Nakamura, and OMKT. Together with aHa Lab., she is currently producing a new album, marking the beginning of a new musical chapter.
