A Miraculous Collaboration Between the "Ninja" and the R&B Queen

Hiroshima Carp's star player, Ryosuke Kikuchi - nicknamed "Kiku."
A gold medalist with Japan's national baseball team at the Tokyo 2021 Olympics, Kikuchi is widely known as one of the top players in the game, earning the moniker "Ninja" for his dazzling defensive plays.

The connection between Kikuchi and JASMINE began with a chance encounter: he stumbled upon her cover of Rachel Platten's "Fight Song" on YouTube.
They soon discovered they came from nearby hometowns, shared many mutual friends, and quickly grew close. From there, a fateful project was set in motion - one that would bridge the worlds of "music" and "baseball."

After receiving a direct offer from Kikuchi himself, JASMINE immediately committed to creating a song.
She was deeply moved by his boundless passion for baseball, his relentless drive to fight through physical and emotional pain without complaint, his leadership and support of younger teammates, and the overwhelming admiration he receives from people around him and his fans.

In his battles, Kikuchi has experienced pain and growth - and JASMINE felt a profound connection to that journey.

For the production, JASMINE brought in her trusted producer, Ryosuke "Dr.R" Sakai.
Kikuchi personally stepped into the studio, joining Sakai, Alenoise, and JASMINE for an intense session.
That day, the seemingly distant worlds of music and baseball became one - and the track was born.

"I don't think I have that many years left in my career," Kikuchi confessed.
Those words etched themselves deeply into JASMINE's heart.
And so, she wished - "I want him to keep running. To capture this incredibly cool moment in his life through music, and to support him."
