War Ends is a song about hope for a world without war.
The idea for this song came from watching the Nagasaki Peace Memorial Ceremony in Japan on August 9. I heard the words of a survivor of the atomic bombing, speaking of the wish for peace and wondering whether that message could truly reach people around the world.
Japan is the only country to have experienced atomic bombings in war. For that reason, I chose to keep parts of the original Japanese lyrics while adding English lyrics, hoping that the message would travel beyond Japan.
No more war.
No more tears.
A world without nuclear weapons.
A world where no one has to cry because of war.
This song was created as ISHIYAMarvy - a fusion of Hideyuki Ishiyama and AI.
AI is not simply a tool here. It is part of the creative process, helping me explore a voice and sound beyond what I could create alone.
War Ends is my small message to the world:
May the day come when war truly ends.
