Intersecting colors

DG5

What color was I

Before I knew your name?

I met red in the morning light

“Reach for what you want,” she said

She burned like fire through the day

Green was standing by her side

Quiet hands around the pain

I learned it from her gentle touch

Every color

Left something in me

Every time we meet

Every time we part

We don’t have to be the same

To change each other’s hearts

Color

Every time I meet you

Red gave me fire

Green gave me kindness

I never knew

They lived in me

I see your color

I feel your heart

Maybe we’re all

A million colors

I met blue on a rainy day

One empty chair between our hands

She taught me how to understand

Yellow always laughed out loud

Brighter than the summer sun

But when the time came to say goodbye

I saw the tears behind her smile

A smile can hurt

A tear can shine

One color never

Tells the whole heart

Red gave fire, green gave care

Blue gave space, yellow hid despair

Black said, “You don’t have to blend”

違うままでも we can connect

Purple truth under moonlit skies

White gets real when it meets the night

We touch, we fall, we learn this life

Every shade, every scar

The closer we get, the less we know

Maybe that’s what humans are

One heart

A million colors

Black isn’t darkness

Black isn’t the end

You don’t have to lose yourself

Just to belong

And then I looked

Into the mirror

Every color that I carried

Was breathing there inside

I had a color

All this time

Color

Every time I meet you

Red gave me fire

Green gave me kindness

Blue gave me distance

Yellow gave me tears

Black gave me courage

To stay who I am

I see your color

I know my heart

Every soul

Has a different light

Color

Every time we cross

The world becomes

A little wider

What color was I

Before I knew your name?

I was always

My own color

"STILL, I CHOOSE" album description

Even if I hesitate or get hurt, I still choose.

What DG5 depicts is not strength without hesitation.

To fall in love with someone. Things that we can't understand each other. To stop. Touching someone's way of life and knowing colors that are different from yourself. And sometimes there are nights when you don't want to hear anything.

"STILL, I CHOOSE" is an album depicting women who finally choose their own lives while having such human imperfections.

It begins with loneliness and love at night, humor, encounters with others, conflict, freedom, and determination. In "Beloved by the Sea", he rowed out into the sea that is not bound by anyone, and in "Poem of the Female Swordsman", he asks about the blade and lifestyle he chose, and in "I am me", he accepts himself, not someone else's correct answer. And with "This Is Your Moment", we will change that choice to a step towards the future.

Kanzaki Momiji's BLACK GRAVEL, Shion Asagiri's MATURE SMOKY HUSKY, Hina Shiramine's WARM SILK, Tachibana Toka's DRY CUT, Amagi Mirai's CRYSTAL POWER. The five different voices are not dyed into one, but intersect with each color.

It doesn't have to be the same.

You don't have to be perfect.

You don't have to have the right answer.

You can choose a different path from yesterday, stop, believe someone again, or choose yourself again.

STILL, I CHOOSE.

Even so, I choose.

It's not a life chosen by someone,

I choose my life.
