Cunimondo Takiguchi, who has been introducing city pop music since the 1990s under the slogan "city music," has been active in the music project "Ryusenkei" since 2001, collaborating with various artists and releasing quality works at his own pace. Ryusenkei, which has been the focus of much attention in the recent city pop movement, is participating in the "Sea of Love" project for the first time.
Nao Kodama is featured on vocals. Her impressive voice, which is pleasantly soft and sometimes powerful, reaches straight to the heart and fascinates all who hear it. Collaborations with artists such as Takuji Aoyagi, Ryo Nagano, and Kan Sano, who have their own unique musical perspectives, confirm the appeal of this singer-songwriter's songs.
The collaboration song "Distant Horizon" is a new song written by Cunimondo Takiguchi on the theme of "the sea. Ryusenkei, shimmering performance and Kodama Nao's fragile vocals create an exquisite sense of comfort and nostalgia. The result is a song that makes one imagine a folky seascape.
