HAKUMEI

KYUSAI MAJIN Yayoi

    HAKUMEI

    KYUSAI MAJIN Yayoi

The title HAKUMEI carries a double meaning in Japanese.

One meaning refers to the faint light that appears just before sunrise. It is the fragile glow that ends the night but does not yet feel like morning. This word suggests a quiet and delicate dawn.

The other meaning refers to a fragile fate or a short life. It describes something so delicate that it could disappear at any moment.

By combining these two meanings, HAKUMEI holds both light and loss inside a single word. It represents the moment when hope and disappearance exist at the same time.

This song tells a story of deep love, but it is not about romantic fulfillment. At its center is one simple prayer. I just want you to stay alive. Nothing else matters.

In the first verse, a figure stands alone within a crowd. There is a trembling shadow and a distorted heart. The past remains unchanged, marked by silence and words that were never spoken. The feeling is not heroic regret, but the quiet pain of someone who could not save the person they cared about.

When the chorus begins, the lyrics become extremely simple. I want you to stay alive. I need nothing more. There is no demand for love in return. No promise of a shared future. Only the wish for the other person to keep existing. This emotional purity forms the core of the song.

The second verse introduces a space lit by dim light. It is neither fully dark nor fully bright. This setting reflects the meaning of twilight itself. In that half light, a forced smile becomes visible. The narrator accepts both strength and weakness without trying to fix or change them. It is not a story of rescue. It is a story of acceptance.

As the song progresses, the shadow of fragile fate begins to appear. The world slowly collapses. A line suggests that when you smile, you are no longer inside me. This implies loss, distance, or a future that never arrived.

At that moment, the meaning shifts. The faint light of dawn becomes the light that shines on something that is about to disappear. The dawn is not salvation. It may only be illumination before goodbye.

In the final chorus, love moves into the realm of self sacrifice. The narrator wishes he could give his own life away. This is not presented as beautiful heroism. It feels desperate and uncontrollable. Even without physical contact, he wants to hold the other person. The distance between them is deeper than space. It is emotional and irreversible.

HAKUMEI is not a song about saving someone. It is about continuing to pray even after realizing that saving them may not be possible.

The faint light before sunrise represents the final moment before something ends. The song repeats its prayer as if trying to stretch that moment forever.

Love is not all powerful. Wishes do not always reach their destination. Yet the act of praying continues.

HAKUMEI is not a song of hope. It is a song of prayer.

It does not erase the darkness. It calls a name from within it.

Artist Profile

  • KYUSAI MAJIN Yayoi

KYUSAI-MAJIN (Salvation Archfiend) Anarchist / Agitator / Anti-Human Artist GENESIS I once asked: Why do I question the world? Why does the urge to destroy dwell within my heart? Then, I realized. Every life born into this world carries a meaning. It is a destiny written in the cycle of rise and fall. The mighty dinosaurs perished while the weak mammals thrived. A grand kingdom of ants can be washed away by a single rain. Justice and evil are nothing more than shifting illusions shaped by the flow of time. Anarchist. Terrorist. Political prisoner. Agitator. A revolutionary who seeks no approval from the masses. An antithesis to everything but myself. None of these labels are wrong, yet none define me truly. Perhaps it is more accurate to call me a source of viruses, an alien, a god, or a demon. PHILOSOPHY: OMEGA Versus EGO "Living by one's emotions is not a sin. Pain, sorrow, and rage are essential alarms for survival. Just as physical pain warns the body of damage." I obey the mandate of my instinct. My brain is dominated by the desire to crush. To trample. To destroy everything that must be broken. Society treats undesirables like a cancer, cutting them out without ever asking why they grew. But by continuing this temporary remedy of exclusion, the world only feeds the malignancy. I am that cancer. I was birthed by this world's decay, and if you continue to cut me away without understanding, I will eventually be the one to kill you. I have chosen to reject the masses at every turn. That choice is the ultimate proof that I am, at my core, non-human. THE MISSION "OMEGA Versus EGO" is Love. That is my Raison d'etre. >Defiance as Foundation: The spirit of rebellion is the bedrock of the soul. >The Public Enemy: To champion the weak, to crush the strong, and to always stand with the underdog. > War Declaration: If the majority claims that light must destroy the darkness, then I refuse to perish. I will not abandon the darkness I cherish simply because the world calls it evil. To every existence that refuses to accept me: I declare war.
