I'm Bad at Swimming

Inspired by the growing number of
questions about Japanese anime from my friends overseas, this is my very first
Anime Music Video project-something
quite different
from my usual style.

I hope this will be one of the songs you
l enjoy listening to this summer.

The story follows an ordinary teenage girl
living in a quiet Japanese town where
peaceful neighbourhoods blend into wide
rice fields.
She enjoys laughing with her friends and
spending warm moments with her family.
Yet whenever she hears her friends talking about romance or sharing stories about
their weekends, a small feeling begins to
grow inside her.
I wish I could experience something like
that too.
Even so, she never simply says, I want a
boyfriend.She feels a little awkward about romance and isnt quite ready to express
those feelings openly.
As summer vacation begins, her struggle
with swimming becomes a gentle
metaphor for something deeper-the hope
that one day shel learn to swim her way
through whatever lies ahead.

This song captures those quiet, hard-to-
name emotions of adolescence, like a snapshot of a teenage heart.
