"Base U," set to release on March 23, 2025, is a 5-track EP by THE YUINOWS, a band formed on April 6, 2021. This marks their debut official release.

Overview:
In terms of musical composition, the EP features a vibrant and bright style influenced by both major Japanese rock bands and indie alternative rock bands. The songs combine unique and engaging structures with pleasant sounds that aim to maintain the listener's interest.

Ensemble:
Vocals: Strong low-mid range vocals

Guitars: Two guitars with unique phrasing centered around the pentatonic scale, without being confined to backing or lead roles

Bass: A bass that maintains a rudimentary and linear low sound while occasionally playing high fret regions

Drums: Drums that are familiar yet unconventional

This combination creates a distinctive sound that eagerly pursues the best elements of alternative rock.

Lyrics:
The lyrics, penned by the guitarist-vocalist, showcase an introspective and literary style. Themes include youth poverty, space, illness, anxiety about the future, and moratorium. The songs tackle conflicting concepts such as positivity and negativity, hope and resignation, and infinity and finitude, all while maintaining these oppositions within a single piece.
