MILK TEA

A single earbud.
The scent lingering on a secondhand coat.
"See you" written on the back of a ticket.

Even after we parted,
small memories
remain woven into everyday life.

I no longer say, "I loved you."
Still,
I do not want to erase
the moments I never learned to hate.

Like the frozen milk tea
left waiting outside the door,
the person I was in those memories
slowly melts away.
