This track is an introspective and philosophical folk-blues piece that explores the "bone-chilling solitude" inherited by modern individuals who broke free from traditional bonds, only to find themselves adrift in a spiritual void.

The lyrics depict the journey of those who abandoned the "warm mud" of family and community in pursuit of liberal ideals, only to end up as mere cogs in a massive social machine, scattered under the cold fluorescent lights of a late-night convenience store. Using the metaphor of the "empty center" (Chukuu)-a unique concept of Japanese social structure-the song poses a sharp question: what should the soul become in a "hollow nation" where the center is a vacuum?

Yet, the song does not succumb to mere despair. In its latter half, it presents a way of life defined by "Iki"-a stoic, stylish resilience. It urges us to stand tall without flattering power or loneliness, keeping a perfect distance from the world while letting sparks fly. It is a blues of resolve for modern drifters, encouraging them to laugh off the failures of freedom and keep carving out their own rhythm within the void.
