The Untold Story of Someone

Every song is written for someone.

'The Untold Story of Someone' is the culmination of ARKTA's first chapter, an album that carefully weaves together the untold stories of the "someone" behind each song.

There is no single, continuous narrative running through the album. Instead, each of its ten tracks was born from a different emotion and written for a different "someone."

To save someone.
To grieve someone we have lost.
To direct our anger toward someone.

To give someone the strength to move forward.
To say goodbye to someone.
To keep loving someone, even after they are gone.

There has always been a "someone" behind the songs we have written.

That someone may be a real person. Or perhaps someone who never existed. Someone from the past. Someone who lives somewhere within ourselves. Or someone we have yet to meet. And not every emotion born between two people finds its way into words.

Things left unsaid.
Feelings that never reached the person they were meant for.
Emotions we eventually chose to leave unspoken.

These untold stories are part of this album, too.
That is why we named it 'The Untold Story of Someone'.

With this album, ARKTA's first chapter comes to a close.

Everything that has shaped ARKTA up to this point, the people we have met, the things we have lost, the people who have supported us, and everything we wanted to say has been left here, within these ten songs.

Now, having preserved that chapter in music, we are ready to move forward. Into chapter two.
