I find myself thinking about things that I know are pointless to dwell on. Its painful, but maybe-just maybe- Im also enjoying it a little. I keep thinking, hoping there might be some kind of pleasure in it.
This song is inspired by the Japanese word mon, as used in expressions like monmon to suru (to be in agony) and modaeru (to writhe). I sang it with that feeling in mind.
