Shakumudo
One element that defines our humanity, I believe, is the ability to "forget." Forgetting can sometimes act upon us cruelly, and at other times, gently.
Sometimes, the important things right before our eyes gradually fade away, while the things we desperately wish to forget linger vividly in our minds.
This song expresses a hope: that by choosing to "hold onto both what we wish to forget and what we wish to remember," we might find some meaning in the present moment.
I created this piece with the hope that it might bring peace to the hearts of those who are lost in despair.
