3rd E.P. from "Doxie" : a Three-piece instrumental rock band based in Yokohama, Japan.
We are "Doxie" from Japan. Love & peace. Formed in 2010, based in Yokohama&Tokyo. 3 piece instrumental rock band has been actively performing live. After a temporary breakup, the band reformed in December 2018 with original members Mine (Guitar) and Yanu (Drums), joined by Kazuma Okuda (Bass), marking the beginning of their current menbers. Their first digital EP, "Doxie", released in early 2021, topped the iTunes Store Japan Instrumental Charts. Until November 2022, the band also served as the inaugural backing band for the project "Furakutaru", produced by Satoyasu Shoumura (ex. [Alexandros]). Each member is active in various musical projects, including Saraba Rubato, ex.Nina lovegood, and ex.FRESH NIGHT PIZZA CLUB, and also join as support musicians for a wide range of artists projects. In 2024, their song "No future" from their first nationally distributed album "SUPER Doxie" (released December 7, 2022) was featured as a walk up track for the ORIX Buffaloes, a professional baseball team, helping them gain nationwide recognition especially among baseball fans. Their second album, "SUPER Doxie II", released on September 25, 2024, features their first vocal track, "SHIBIRE feat. Shingen Mori" (Alaska Jam), co-written with the artist, drawing significant attention. Their outstanding musicianship, catchy songs that transcend the boundaries of traditional instrumental music, and energetic live performances have won them rave reviews from fellow musicians and music fans alike. They have been attracting attention mainly in the live house scene as a live band and a new instrumental band.
