うなずくかわりに、そっと差し出したコーヒーのあたたかさ

その全部が、あのときの「わたしの気持ち」だったのだと思う

正しかったかは、やっぱり今でもわからない

でも、あれ以上のやさしさを、あのときのわたしは

もう持ち合わせていなかったのだと、今なら思える

そして今日、同じように黙ったままの誰かがいたとしても

わたしはもう、「なにも言えなかったんだね」って

そっと心の中で、味方になれる気がする

あの朝のコーヒーが冷めていた理由を

わたしはようやく思い出せた気がする
