One single wish in my heart

I planted a seed in the dark

No light above, no warmth below

Still, I believed in people’s spark

Long ago in distant lands

The seed fell quiet in the sand

More than what the eyes can see

I placed my hope in empathy

Hands meant to guard may also harm

But even pain can still be warm

Within the cracks of shattered things

A fragile kindness took to wing

I only watched, I never spoke

But I saw laughter bloom through smoke

Though I had no words, no power to give

Still someone called my name — and chose to live

When a single light begins to shine

That alone makes everything divine

It doesn’t have to bloom just right

Even sorrow holds a kind of light

Whenever hearts reach out and care

The seed becomes the light we share

At times the seed was crushed, ignored

Burned to ash in fire and war

But when small hands reached for another

There was love left — soft as a mother

A lost soul sang through silent nights

A lullaby to guide the light

No one else would ever know

But I saw that song help life still grow

Can you hold back tears when life lets go?

When one must part to help love grow

But even there — in that goodbye

I heard spring rising with a cry

Oh little seed, don’t try too hard

You don’t need to bloom or leave a mark

If one small smile can shine so bright

That alone can shift the night

And when I see a hand reach out

That is what my faith’s about

Even when the years go by

Some things in this world don’t die

A simple word — “thank you,” sincere

Can change the world from where it’s near

Even now, somewhere unseen

A seed is sleeping, soft and green

A single song, a touch, a flame

Can light a path or plant a name

And so I walk the world once more

To find the lights worth walking for

That’s enough — it always was

No need for crowns, no need for applause
